Frequently asked questions.

How should I dress?

While we want everyone to be comfortable, we would like to ask for everyone to dress nicely in semi-formal attire. (No jean, t-shirts, sneakers, etc.) Please keep in mind that since the wedding is in October, we expect it to be fairly warm, possibly in the 90s.

Additionally, the ceremony and recreational areas will be on grass, so choose your footwear wisely! (Stiletto heals may not be a good idea) We plan on doing a lot of dancing, so wear your dancing shoes!

Lastly, for obvious reasons, we ask our guests to not wear white attire. Please let us know if you have any questions or need accommodations! Thank you!

What type of food will be served?

We will be having a buffet consisting of chicken, beef, mashed potatoes, salad, vegetables, and bread, with the addition of a “grazing table” as a snack/appetizer.

Dessert will consist of cupcakes and candies.

Please let us know if there are any dietary limitations or allergies!

Are kids allowed?

In order to keep the event more intimate, we would prefer if only children within the family attend the wedding. However, we are open to making exceptions! Please contact us ASAP for any requests!

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please submit your RSVPs by September 20th. Thank you!

Will there be alcohol?

Of course! However, there will also be other drinks such as waters and sodas available.

What are some good hotels in the area?

We recommend looking at hotels in Redding since there aren’t many options in Palo Cedro. Please see our “Travel & Stay” page for recommendations and additional information. As always, you can contact us for additional questions.

What time should we arrive?

The ceremony begins at 4:30 pm! You’re welcome to arrive up to 30 minutes early to mingle and find your seats.

Are plus-one’s allowed?

Yes! Just make sure you put them down on the RSVP form!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony will be conducted outdoors and the reception will be in a semi-enclosed barn.

How long is the event?

The wedding will run until 10 pm.
